Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber is an excellent resource for business assistance and networking opportunities. They hold an annual business expo plus numerous workshops and business activities throughout the year.

Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO)
This economic development agency is responsible for promoting the state of Illinois as a business friendly location, especially in the core areas of transportation, manufacturing and technology development. Rely on them for a variety of incentives, technical and marketing support, job training and financial assistance.

I-88 West Corridor Association
This consortium of area economic development and business leaders can help you learn more about development opportunities along the I-88 corridor.

Northwest Illinois Workforce Investment Board (WIB)/Partners for Employment
WIB is responsible for directing federal, state and local funds to employment, training, education and economic development efforts throughout northwest Illinois. Partners for Employment is the local office for this national group.

The Sterling Small Business and Technology Center***The Small Business & Technology Center, a.k.a. “The Incubator” houses 24 modules, each measuring 1,500 square feet for small businesses to utilize with low start-up costs. The facility is equipped with many workplace accommodations and two loading docks for delivery and distribution. The Sterling Small Business and Technology Center was designed with movable partitions to allow for effortless expansion and room for your business to grow within the incubator, private entrances with front door signage, office equipment, conference room, and grant and loan assistance.

The Kitchen Incubator is a 3,000 square-foot facility serving Northwest IL with equipment sharing and space.
