The Small Business Technology Center – Sterling’s Business Incubator
Helping Small Businesses Succeed
The Sterling Small Business Technology Center knows how important small businesses are to the success of the Greater Sterling area, and offers resources such as affordable space, help with business plans, and an effective way to network with other businesses. Resources such as the Sterling Small Business Technology Center are just a few of the reasons why Sterling’s pro-business community is a perfect location for new, expanding and relocating businesses.
“We know how important small businesses are to the success of our area, and that’s why the Small Business Technology Center was created,” said Andra Bielema, Small Business and Technology Center Manager.
“Along with affordable space, we offer private entrances with front door signage, office equipment, a conference room, loading docks, consulting, grant and loan assistance. The number of successful businesses who got their start at the Center is proof of its value to the community.”
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (www.sba.gov), small businesses are critical to the health and success of the U.S. economy.
Small companies represent:
• 99.7% of all employer firms
• 50% of private sector employees
• 45% of all private payroll
• 60%-80% of new jobs over the past decade
